Description
Bright and vibrant red coloured Kota Silk Dupatta with Mothra, additional dyeing using the leheria technique. This a gorgeous dupatta hand-woven on traditional pit loom is a perfect and graceful drape. It feels cosy and comfortable due to very fine weave, floating, transparent, feather-weight, soft, airy and light texture. It can be matched with white or any pastel coloured or dark coloured apparels.
Kota Doria is a unique blend of strong cotton and mesmerising lustre and softness of silk in a square check pattern, locally called as ‘Khats’.  The yarn used is smeared in onion juice and rice paste to make it strong and no need of additional finish.
Kota Doria, the royal fabric of Rajasthan was brought from Mysore to Khaitoon village of Kota District by Rao Kishore Singh, Prince of Kota and General of Shahjahan in 17th-18th century, hence called as ‘Masuria’ and ‘Masuria Malmal’.
